Life As A Teen🚻

Hey guyyyyysss! So today we have another guest in the house. A very good friend of  mine and also a poem lover. Let me officially introduce you to FARIA KHAN. All the way from India. This is to show you that whatever you're feeling is not only in whatever country you are currently but all over the world. This chapter really talked to me and I hope it talks to you too.

P. S don't forget to share and comment ♥

LIFE AS A TEEN

My dear friends and lovely people out there, I hope you're doing well. Oops ! I asked a very controversial question which every other teenager like me detests.

I am a teenager like you, and I commit blunders, wage a trouble for myself, hurt someone and often pray to God to help me out. I also dont like to be questioned how I am feeling until and unless someone is genuine and interested enough to sit and listen me out and not just PRETEND to be concerned, don't please don't,  because at this age I prefer people who are real because that's what I am. I am a teenager , if you have some or even one of the above traits as a teenager don't worry that is quite normal.

Apparently I mused to myself, after all I am 18, I might be qualified enough to preach teenagers who range from ages 12 to 18. But I think I might not be fair enough to myself or even to all you beautiful people. Because I too need someone to listen and who can be better than some teenager itself who is sitting in some other part of the world but is relating with me and is going through exactly what I want to express .
How beautiful! We can connect with each other across countries, because there are no boundaries between hearts.

What exactly I wish to address and share is about peer pressure and the unavoidable feeling to keep up with your fellow mates. I too have experienced this . Thankfully we are not alone in this. This is where we dig a pit for ourselves and fall in it, we often just follow without thinking, we follow because we think we ought to keep pace with the world.

I too saw my friends partying left, right and centre and I being an introvert  often felt left out. I often subjected myself to overwhelming pain of keeping up. So again if you're feeling this you are not alone in this, we are on the same boat waging through troubled waters.

But I learnt to love myself, pain gives you unavoidable lessons and that is what I learnt, I learnt to give myself importance, accept myself both physically and mentally, and soon I found out I was accepted, its just you have to accept yourself and you'll find people who will accept you as you are. The real beautiful soul which God has created ! People think and absorb what you think about yourself .. think good and positive about yourself and you'll find the world aligning with you . It just depends on your perspective.

With passage of time and repeated heartbreaks I learnt somethings which I feel like sharing with you about peer pressure :

1. Discrepate and distinguish,  I learnt to  differentiate between what's right for me and what's wrong for me, so that I don't burden myself with what my peers are doing, on the humourous note, it gives you substantial platform to argue when you're right .

2. Not everything which your peers are doing and following is not the word of God.

3. Learn to say no to things which you're not comfortable about and be stern with your decision because intuition never lies.

4. At the end of a bad day you might come across thoughts like 'I am useless' 'i am not popular, 'I am not happy or maybe suicidal ones .
Don't subside them, as more you try to masquerade unhappy feelings into happier ones they turn out to be more toxic for you.

5. Talk it out to someone you trust and if not ,write it down on some paper or a journal when you have no one to talk to, which I often do and yes! paper is more patient than human.

In the end I would just say to all of you that you all are beautiful souls who are sent on earth to fulfill an objective In life , you're all unique so don't compare , you're all beautiful in your own true self so dont try to change yourself to be someone else and God is there with all of you holding you in his gentle care because you are all precious to him and even to people who love and care about you.

Dont fake how you feel, because even happiness becomes a burden when you cannot laugh.
