He cares♡♥♡

    Hey Guyyyyys,

I'm back again with a little Sunday blessing by a very dear friend of mine Obamina Favour also known as Hafe. Thank you girl for taking your time to share this with us. 

Have you ever closed your eyes and tried to get into God's presence, and yet you find yourself in your dreams? You jack awake and a good 20 mins is passed. Have you ever closed your eyes and started speaking love words and at some point, you realize you're 'talking in the rubbish'? Have you ever tried to pray and focus on Jesus, and you find your thoughts swarming between the last movie you watched and the last conversation you had?

 At those times it gets frustrating. You're like 'should I just go to bed?' or 'Maybe God is not ready to hear me today' or 'God help me focus'. And...nothing happens. You might feel a cool breeze it a warmth of nothing. The heartbreak that follows, that deep sinking of the heart when you feel like 'I must have done the worst possible thing' or 'I would/can never be forgiven'.

Close your eyes again, take a comfortable position and try to visualize God in His throne right before you. Yes, there might be an overwhelming sense of guilt and shame, where you feel 'I should probably run and hide'. But the truth is, if you run, where can you run and hide from the presence of God? Where can you go to that will give you comfort and overcome the guilt of hurting Him? No where. As He chastises with one hand, He used the other to draw you closer...in true love.

So as I was saying,; close your eyes, visualize God. Push through the shame and guilt, and talk. Talk to God...believe me, He listens. Tell Him anything, Tell Him everything. How you feel at that moment, even if it isn't right. How you're so confused whether He's still with you or has left you as a punishment for something you don't know you have done. Tell Him about the burden and heaviness in your heart. 

Sometimes, our worries/issues/distractions distract us so we can talk to God about it. If it's bothering you, then you need to talk to the One person who's always ready to listen to you. Cry in His presence, His hands are the softest to wipe tears away. Be broken in front of Him, He has the best glue in the world. Tell Him, sing it, scream it, chant it. When words fail you, groan it. When sound fails you, stay quiet. He doesn't just hear your lips, He can also hear your heart. No matter what you do, don't forget that He still very much cares. 😁.
